Technical Service Coordinator

At Origin, we are growing, and so is our Technical department. We’re looking for a Technical Service Coordinator to join us. Initially, you’ll be stepping in to provide maternity cover, which will give you exposure to a wide range of processes and responsibilities. With the department expanding alongside the business, there will be opportunities to shape your longer-term role once the maternity cover period comes to an end.
What you’ll be doing
As Technical Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technical service operations. You’ll coordinate engineer schedules, manage departmental systems, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and act as the first point of contact for technical queries. Clear communication will be central – you’ll be the link between engineers, customers, and other teams, ensuring that information flows effectively and nothing falls through the cracks.
In this role, you’ll need to stay calm under pressure, especially when balancing multiple installations, repairs, and urgent customer requests at once. Problem-solving in real time and supporting engineers so they can focus on their technical work will be key to your success.
You’ll also have the chance to learn directly from a colleague going on maternity leave, giving you exposure to a wide range of processes and responsibilities. As the department expands in line with the broader business, you’ll be joining at an exciting time, one where your input will help shape how we deliver technical services now and in the future.
