Head of Brand

About the Role
We’re looking for a Head of Brand to set the strategic
direction for Origin, ensuring our identity grows with clarity, consistency, and
cultural relevance. You’ll lead the evolution of our brand positioning, guide
our narrative, and connect our identity to long-term business goals.
In this senior role, you’ll work closely with the (Fractional) Marketing Director, CEO and Senior Leadership Team to embed brand strategy across all channels, products, and experiences. You’ll mentor and inspire a high-performing brand and creative team, fostering a purposeful and collaborative culture. You’ll oversee the creative function, including the Creative Lead (once appointed), providing innovative art direction that elevates every brand expression across campaigns, channels, and experiences. You’ll act as a bridge between brand and commercial teams, ensuring every campaign, launch, and partnership builds brand equity while delivering measurable results.
This role is for a strategic leader with a track record of building and scaling premium lifestyle brands, guiding Origin through growth while protecting our core identity.
What You’ll Be Doing
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Lead the development and execution of Origin’s brand strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission, values, and business goals.
- Define and protect the brand’s market positioning and ensure its relevance as we grow in existing and new markets.
- Create and maintain a brand framework covering narrative, tone of voice, and value proposition.
- Identify opportunities for brand growth, including new formats, categories, channels, and geographic markets.
- Lead annual and seasonal brand planning, aligning key brand moments with commercial priorities.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing brand team, creating an environment that inspires creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Oversee the Creative Lead (once appointed) and provide creative and art direction to support their work, including designers, artworkers, and content creators.
- Build a culture that connects strategic thinking with commercial awareness, ensuring the team understands the “why” behind every brand initiative.
- Represent the Brand function to the SLT and act as the main point of connection between brand, marketing, and commercial teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with channel marketing, product, retail, events and e-commerce teams to ensure the brand strategy is embedded in campaigns, launches, and customer experiences.
- Work closely with the CEO, (Fractional) Marketing Director, and Director of Growth on go-to-market strategies and key trading moments.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships that enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
Brand Governance & Performance
- Maintain and update brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application across all channels and partners.
- Oversee creative guidelines, ensuring all visual and content outputs meet Origin’s design, quality, and storytelling standards before release.
- Monitor brand performance through agreed KPIs, using insights to refine strategy and investment decisions.
- Manage the brand budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively to deliver maximum impact.

- Proven ability to provide creative and art direction, ensuring multi-channel outputs meet brand and creative standards.
- Experience developing and enforcing brand and creative guidelines across channels, partners, and internal teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance long-term brand building and short-term growth goals.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate brand strategy clearly and persuasively.
